1. How would you sum up your work?
As Education and Cultural Programs Coordinator, I am now part of the important classes and events that I grew up with which sparked my love for my culture at a very young age. I also process scholarship applications and make sure associated funds are distributed correctly.
2. What motivates you to continue to work for TTC?
What motivates me most is having the daily reminder that our culture is alive, and by preserving it, we are honoring those who came before us while strengthening the future. Nothing is more rewarding than reviving someone’s love for their culture through a
class or event.
3. What about your board, executive team and company impresses you the most?
The executive team, board, and overall company are nothing short of inspiring. There’s a clear sense of purpose in everything they do, and it’s evident that leadership isn’t just focused on success but also on making a positive impact. The guidance these people provide isn’t just about navigating the future, it’s about building something lasting that will leave a legacy.
4. What is your greatest professional/personal goal that you have achieved since working for TTC?
A personal goal accomplished is that I have broadened my professional background and have started to attend meetings, workshops, and more.

My favorite place in Alaska is Tatitlek in the summertime. It brings sunny weather, long walks, trips to gather fish eggs, berries, and
more family time than ever.
7. What is your favorite traditional food?
My favorite traditional food would have to be fish eggs. There are so many ways to eat them, and every single version tastes delicious. My favorite way would have to be on pilot bread with cream cheese.

In my free time, I like to keep myself busy with crocheting, reading, beading, and sewing.
