The Reopening of the Kelly House
We are thrilled to announce the upcoming reopening of The Kelly House, a cherished community center that embodies the original vision of Gary Kompkoff. The Kelly House, initially opened pre-pandemic, served as a safe and welcoming space for our community members to play games, enjoy free wi-fi, and enjoy each other’s company in a drug- and alcohol-free environment.
When the pandemic hit, we closed The Kelly House out of an abundance of caution. During this period, the center played a crucial role by providing office space for the IRA Council while they underwent relocation and remodeling.
We are pleased to share that The Kelly House has undergone significant renovations, thanks to the hard work and dedication of The Tatitlek Corporation team, including President, Dean Clowers, Assistant Controller Adrian Ramos, IT Administrator, Garrison “Bo” Buretta, and Dean’s wife, Lori Clowers. They have made remarkable improvements, including the installation of new flooring and a deck, among other enhancements.
Dean’s commitment to our community exemplifies the spirit of “there’s no job too small,” showing that even TTC’s president is willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done – A trait and principle that resonates through the company.
Now, we are excited to bring the games back into the space and see The Kelly House once again become a vibrant hub for our community.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back to The Kelly House this summer! Stay tuned for more details about the reopening date and planned festivities.
