Board members and leadership from The Tatitlek Corporation participated in Alaska Day 2026, March 4–5 in Washington, D.C. Hosted by the Alaska Federation of Natives in partnership with Alaska’s Congressional Delegation, this annual gathering brings together Alaska Native leaders, federal officials, and industry partners to strengthen collaboration, advance self-determination, and explore opportunities that support economic growth and effective governance across Alaska Native communities.
Vice President of Shareholder and Community Relations, Angela Totemoff, participated as a panelist for the program, Strengthening the Durability of the SBA 8(a) Program: Legal Foundations, Policy Landscape and Strategic Coordination. This discussion highlighted the importance of this federal contracting program in streamlining service delivery, supporting tribal economic development, strengthening sovereignty, and enabling Alaska Native organizations to deliver services and drive local and regional growth.
