While our past is complex and spans thousands of years, this video series explores the strength we take from our traditional roots, our Corporation’s success due to our board of directors’ vision and strategy and the importance of our future generations. Watch on to see Tatitlek at Fifty: Honoring past, presenting and future generations:
OUR PAST
Our people are resilient and strong. We have been here for more than 5,000 years and despite devastating events including the relocation of the Village, 1964 earthquake, Exxon Valdez Oil Spill, we maintain a strong connection to the land and a subsistence lifestyle.
OUR PRESENT
Our board of directors integrates traditional values into the Corporation’s business functions, strategy and operations. TTC’s success is due to the SBA 8(a) program, hiring qualified employees and shareholders, and is parlayed into the shareholder community to improve the lives of our people.
OUR FUTURE
Our youth are our future. When rooted in our cultural traditions and supported by the success of the Corporation, we are empowered. We belong here, we should be proud of who are and we need to ensure our heritage is passed to future generations.
