This year The Tatitlek Corporation proudly sponsored a delegation of shareholders, elders, and youth from Tatitlek Village to participate in the Elders and Youth Conference and Alaska Native Federation of Natives Convention.
One of the highlights of TTC’s participation at AFN was our exhibit booth. This booth was a hub for TTC shareholders to come together and connect with the larger Alaska Native community or just simply to take a rest.
Success of the TTC booth at the AFN exhibit was made possible through the dedication of TTC’s shareholder employees: Tanya Totemoff, Candy Hendrickson, intern Kalyn Colbert, apprentice Glenn Christmas, and the enthusiastic Tatitlek Village youth. Their efforts ensured that the booth not only displayed the rich heritage and achievements of Tatitlek but also served as a welcoming place for all to visit.
Angela Totemoff was re-elected by the Chugach Villages to the AFN Board. Angela’s re-election demonstrates the confidence and trust placed in her to advocate for the interests and aspirations of the Chugach Region. In her next term she is looking forward to listening and learning from our people to ensure she represents all interests in the AFN board room.
